Autel MaxiSys MS909S2 is one of the most advanced diagnostic systems in the MaxiSys series and is designed for professional car service centers that work with modern vehicles and complex communication protocols. It offers complete diagnostics of all control units, advanced data analysis, ECU topology display (Topology 3.0), and support for online coding and ECU programming. The system is based on a powerful tablet with Android 13 operating system, an eight-core processor, 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory, which ensures fast response even when working with large amounts of live data. It includes the MaxiFlash VCI2 interface, which supports communication via USB, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth and complies with the SAE J2534, ISO 22900, and RP1210 standards for PassThru programming. Autel MaxiFlash VCI2

Autel MaxiFlash VCI2 not only functions as a communication adapter for diagnostic tools, but also serves as an advanced interface for working with modern vehicles and their control units.

• More advanced than J2534: With support for three diagnostic protocols (D-PDU / SAE J2534 / RP1210), the VCI2 can work with more OEM diagnostic tools and allows for diagnostics, coding, and programming of a wider range of vehicles than standard J2534 programmers.
• VCI communication: Dual Wi-Fi mode – one channel is for direct connection between the tablet and the VCI, the other allows the tablet to connect to the internet for software updates and online services. VCI2 offers higher transfer speeds, more stable connections, and better resistance to interference (comparable to USB communication). The wireless communication range is up to approximately 50 m, and the diagnostic speed has been further optimized compared to the older generation.

Advanced coding and programming

In conjunction with Autel MaxiSys diagnostic tablets (e.g., MaxiSys MS909), MaxiFlash VCI2 allows you to perform diagnostic tasks that were previously only available to dealer diagnostics, including coding and programming control units.

• Coding: also known as teach-in program or adaptation, is used to reprogram the adaptive data of vehicle control modules after repairs or part replacements.
• Programming: automatically downloads the latest software version from the manufacturer's online database and transfers it to the vehicle's control unit. The process takes place online when the tablet is connected to the Internet, without the need for manual update checks.

With support for D-PDU, SAE J2534, and RP1210 protocols, the combination of MaxiFlash VCI2 and MaxiSys MS909 S2 enables diagnostics, coding, and programming of a wide range of passenger and commercial vehicles.
