Autel MaxiAP AP200

Autel MaxiAP AP200 offers a revolutionary solution for performing diagnostics on all makes of cars using a special Bluetooth adapter in conjunction with an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet. Offering a simplified suite of features found on more expensive Autel tools, it is suitable for DIY use thanks to its versatility and ability to pick and choose individual supported car makes. The compact size and mobile app integration makes it portable and easy to use anytime and anywhere. You can choose which car brands you want the tool to support, so you only pay for what you actually need.

Supported Control Units

Unlike cheaper diagnostics based on ELM327, Autel MaxiAP AP200 does not focus solely on engine ECU diagnostics, but can connect to the vast majority of control units in the car, supporting, among other things, reading and clearing diagnostic trouble codes on the following control units:

• engine
• ABS
• airbags
• automatic transmission
• instrument cluster
• central electronics
• air conditioning and more than 100 others

The list of supported car models is very comprehensive and the car being OBD-II standard compliant is not a requirement. This is especially useful for older cars that already have an OBD-II socket, but were not yet fully compliant with the OBD-II standard. Most car models manufactured between 1996 and 2016 are supported. Newer models up to 2020 are also commonly supported.

To use the device, you need to download the Autel MaxiAP200 app, available for both Android and iOS, to your mobile device. Included with your purchase is a pre-paid full support for one car make - you can pick the car brand of your choice when you first connect to your AP200 device. Also included is basic OBD-II diagnostics support for all car models. Full support for additional car makes, beyond the one included with your purchase, is available as an in-app purchase for approx. 20€ per additional brand annually. The app is multilingual, there are 15 languages to choose from: English, German, Russian, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Korean, Japanese and more.
