MaxiSYS Ultra is Autel's flagship diagnostic tool. It offers complete diagnostics of all control units on most European, Asian and American cars, as well as advanced features such as ECU topology mapping. Autel MaxiSYS Elite II Pro can read readiness codes, reset maintenance intervals, diagnose and regenerate DPF, perform throttle body relearn, relearn automatic transmission settings, perform complete TPMS diagnostics, register battery, code the injectors, code keys and remotes and many other tasks. Both online and offline ECU coding, relearning and flashing are supported, as well as the ability to unlock previously hidden car features.
The included Autel MaxiFlash VCMI is a 5-in-1 device. It doesn't merely serve as a Vehicle Communication Interface but also includes advanced features such as support of the J2534 pass-thru protocol, a built-in 4-channel oscilloscope, waveform generator, multimeter and CAN bus communication tester. Autel MaxiSYS Ultra is compatible with virtually all cars and control units on the market and supports all the crucial protocols, such as D-PDU, SAE J2534, RP1210, DoIP and CAN-FD.
Autel MaxiSYS series also supports access to control units protected by the Security Gateway Module (SGW/SFD) on FCA and VAG cars without the need for a hardware bypass - you will be offered an option to purchase a licence when you connect your tool to a car with secured control units.

New Autel MaxiFlash VCMI (5-in-1 Vehicle Communication Interface)
The included VCI can do much more than just connect you to a car, it also features a built-in 4-channel oscilloscope, waveform generator, multimeter and CAN bus tester.
- Multiple Advanced Protocols: Offering 3 advanced diagnostic protocols and APIs (D-PDU/SAE J2534/RP1210), the VCI is compatible with more OEM diagnostic tools and has a broader diagnostic and programming spectrum than VCIs limited to just J2534.
- VCI Communication: Autel MaxiFlash VCMI features 4 communication modes - Bluetooth/Wi-Fi/USB/Ethernet, for a stable and uninterrupted connection for critical tasks like reprogramming an ECU.
- Ultra-Precise Oscilloscope: Built-in Oscilloscope with a 20MHz bandwidth, up to 80ms/s sampling rate and accurate waveform acquisition. 32MB memory for complex signals, and allows for amplification and waveform playback, supporting advanced edge and pulse triggers.
- Waveform Generator: Produces electrical signals and analyzes the performance of the vehicle's hardware by varying frequencies and waveforms. Autel MaxiSYS Ultra has a large cloud database of preset cases, including wiring diagrams of various sensors and actuators on the vehicle, reference waveform values, waveform analysis, DTC analysis, intelligent one-click waveform settings etc.
- Multimeter: No separate multimeter tool required - with the Autel MaxiFlash VCMI you can measure voltage, current, and resistance in one click.
- OBD CAN Signal Check: By detecting the OBD interface signals, you can check whether communication states are within parameters or not.
Intelligent Diagnostics
MaxiSYS Ultra integrates features as DTC analysis, repair tips, repair assistance, technical service bulletins including OEM information, component specs and relevant cases - all to help you streamline your repair processes. All information together with the vehicle data will be clearly available in one place.
- TSB: Integration of Technical Service Bulletins can save technicians troubleshooting time, provide organized and itemised repair procedures and standardise the repair process. This can also enhance the quality of the maintenance as it's supported by repair history and high-level diagnostic procedures.
- DTC Definition: Ranked by Priority, DTC definition shows technicians possible causes of the trouble codes and provides detailed explanation.
- DTC Guidance: Provides step-by-step repair guidance, precise recommendation of parts locations and diagrams.
- Repair Procedure: Showing trouble code detection and repair process.
- Component Inspection: In-depth inspection of components with the 5-in-1 VCMI
- Related Maintenance Cases: Show photos and videos of real related cases to provide you with visualised maintenance methods and procedures.

Advanced Coding and Programming
Autel MaxiSYS Ultra can perform advanced diagnostic procedures that were previously only possible with OEM diagnostics, such as ECU coding and firmware programming.
- ECU Coding - allows you to change existing parameters within the ECU (Electronic Control Unit), most commonly done after repairs to adjust to new parts or to reset certain autolearned settings.
- ECU Programming - also known as ECU flashing, uses an Internet connection to automatically detect and download the latest official update pack and allows you to completely rewrite the ECU's firmware.
With support for D-PDU, SAE J2534 and RP1210 protocols and APIs, MaxiSYS Ultra provides diagnostics and ECU coding and programming for more passenger and commercial vehicles than tools that only support J2534.
